So practice with my tablet has been minimal. I came down a little case of 'really fecking ill' and I haven't been able to look at screens for long without losing concentration from the headaches.
On top of that I've also been moved to a completely different department at work, it's a much easier job mentally but it's ALOT more physically exhausting. I Dread to think how many miles a day I walk now dragging heavy pallets behind me. I'm settling in but it's all been very mentally and physically draining.
So when I've got home from work I haven't been able to face concentrating on anything when I flop onto my bed after 10 hours of backbreaking labour XD

Well while I'm learning the ropes with my new tablet (it's a 7inch Wacom intuos S for those interested XD), is there any interest in other kinds of posts (second life photos, comic collecting images, tech stuff, general blogs and daily life photos) or am I just gonna bloat my gallery with pointless crap?
The sort of stuff that would be kept out of groups and my featured gallery, but with DA eclipse I don't like how it always displays latest deviations and don't want my profile to look like a pointless blogging page :/
If there's interest then I'll consider it. Xx

So... I wasn't excited about Captain Marvel. I didn't particularly like the character going in given her characterisation in the comics and Brie Larson's heavy handed feminist posturing surrounding the movie's release.

However, the film itself...
Is good. It's REALLY good.
Gonna get my complaints out of the way first.
Very ropey looking CGI throughost of the film, particularly in scenes showing Captain Marvel flying, Some VERY cringey lines and Brie Larson's acting is, at best, passable (I see where people were coming from saying she can't really show emotion), and a few times the pacing goes a bit weird and there's points where the action drags on too long and the low point luls go on just a bit too long as well.
However, Cap. Marvel in the film is still a very likeable, and eventually, relatable protagonist. Sam Jackson probably turns in his best performance as Nick Fury ever (He's seriously the shining star of the film), it's nice to see Coulson turn up in the MCU movies again, Goose is SO freaking adorable (even if I am still pissed they changed Chewie's name T^T), and I'd say its probably one of the funniest MCU movies ever... After Ragnarok, Homecoming and GOTG Vol. 1 and 2.
Also the soundtrack IS Awesome, even if it is just because I'm a girl who was born to be a 90's kid and was born a little too late (FUCKING NIRVANA! MY MOST FAVOURITE BAND EVER!)

I went in not expecting alot and I ce out very satisfied. I never felt like I'd wasted my money... It probably also helped a went in after a few cans of cider and continued to drink cider through the whole film XD
